ABOUT
Year: 3rd, Major: Honour’s Double Major in Childhood and Youth Studies and Political Science & International Relations
Hello King’s community! My name is Alyssa McNulty, and I’m running to be your next VPSE! A little about me: I am a third-year student pursuing a double honours major in Childhood and Youth Studies and Political Science & International Relations here at King’s University College. From working in reception through the work-study program, starting a new initiative ‘the ‘King’s Pen Pals with Seniors’ club, and just being a student in general, I know what it is like to try and find and your place here at King’s.
That is why I’m excited to be running for Vice President of Student Events! I’m passionate about enhancing student experiences and promoting academic wellness at King’s. As a 3rd year student, I understand the struggles of being involved as a student who is busy, commutes, or is just looking for a place where they belong. I want to work to make it easier for students to create clubs, step into leadership roles, and have their voices heard. My goal is to collaborate with students to meet their needs and ensure their time at King’s is both fulfilling and memorable. I believe that together we can create opportunities for involvement, a sense of belonging, and meaningful support for each other. My goal is that we can build an inclusive campus culture where everyone thrives. I’m content that my enthusiasm, leadership experience, and dedication will allow me to make a lasting, positive impact on the KUCSC and our student community.
