Every member of the Communications portfolio sits on the Communications Committee, and members are expected to attend weekly hour-long committee meetings. Beyond this, time commitment is role-dependent. On average, all members should anticipate a 3-5 hour/week commitment to their role.
It is beneficial that those applying have experience using basic camera equipment, Canva, and CapCut, dependent on the role. However, this experience is not required, and creativity is ultimately the most important asset!
It is not a requirement that members appear on camera. However, if comfortable doing so, being featured in KUCSC content will greatly assist in the ease of media-related work.
