JMS Careless History Society
Engaging with history through collaborative academic and social events.
The JMS Careless History Society is the official history club for King’s University College. This club has been around since 1974, with the intent to enrich academic life and provide a social environment in which students, faculty and community members have the opportunity to come together and partake in a collaborative forum that emphasizes the relevance and value of all things historical. This club is a great opportunity for students enrolled in history programs to improve their student experience but also a great way for students who may not be enrolled in a history program to explore their interest or passion for history. There are monthly social and academic events that occur throughout the school year. The JMS Careless History Society is a club where individuals can learn and explore the various topics of history and further use the skills and knowledge gained through social and academic experiences they will endure to thrive throughout their time at King’s University College.
